Found a new site today, Buyblue.org.

This organization rates businesses on their political contributions. Obviously they would like people to use their site to encourage folks to buy from "blue" companies. This site also allows those who would prefer to purchase from red contributors to see who supports their cause. The site allows you to search by the name of the company or by the type of industry.

It's an interesting idea, unfortunately most people (including me) probably don't pay enough attention to religiously visit only specific stores that may (or may not) agree with me politically.

1 I'd like to follow the buy blue idea, but I'm just too damn lazy. I saw that Ebay was blue though, which makes me happy.
